September 13th Meeting

Announcements:

Fellowship, BBQ and General Good Time this weekend at Utigard's Orchard.  You should have received directions in your email.  Join us at 11:00 and bring a side dish of some kind.

Rotary Night:  This Saturday, September 17th at Wenatchee  High School.  Contact Rob Tidd to sign up, or just meet at 6:00 p.m. at the north concession stand.

There is a new form for reimbursements- if you need it, ask Leslie.

District Training is coming up in Osoyoos, BC.  It is October 28th and 29th and the club will pay the registration fee.  More details here.

Rotary Leadership Institute training is coming up in Yakima.  Currently it is half price and the club will pay for it.  More details here.  Space is limited.

It is the 30th Year for the Bike Ride!  The date is June 3rd, 2017.  SAVE THE DATE!!  Plan your vacations, etc, around our biggest fundraising event of the year!!   It will end at Pybus this year which will be very cool and food will be offered by Garlini's.

Chamber of Commerce After Hours meeting is at United Way on September 28th, 5-7:00.

Wayne was on the beach in Florence, Oregon last week.

Lucas (left) attended the in-bound orientation with 30 other students and had a great time.

Jim and Carol went on an Alaskan cruise and managed to attend a make-up meeting there!

Alan went to his honorary daughter's wedding and spent Sunday morning making breakfast for his son-in-law's film crew.

Jill is looking for members of the Wenatchee Appleatchee Drill Team for a reunion.  If you know any, send them to Jill.

Patty has finally recovered from the relatives and wedding festivities and went on an Alaskan cruise with the Adamsons.

The Program today was given by the Holmbergs on their trip to Misawa, Japan.  They had an amazing time with the Apple Blossom Royalty, and enjoyed a lot of fun cultural activities.
