March 21st Meeting

Announcements:

This morning we watched a brief video from the WHS Interact Club about their Habitat for Humanity project.  You can watch the video here.

David Barish was inducted today (right)!  WELCOME!

Twelve people came to the painting party at the YWCA. Thanks to everyone who participated.  Scroll to next section for photos.

The Leavenworth Rotary has a social on April 2nd.  If you are interested in attending the French-inspired mystery dinner, click here.

The Golf Tournament raised $300.00 for the club and was a great time for everyone!  The Adamsons were the big winners with a score of 23+.

Bike Ride sign-ups are starting.  The success of this event is dependent on everyone in the club volunteering at least one place.  We need help Thursday for set up, Friday for registration and Saturday all day.  If you are unavailable that weekend, there is a need for someone to be in charge of mailing out jerseys after the event.  Contact Alice if you can help with this.

Our next club social is April 12th at Columbia Brewing Company.  Rumor has it that the Mac and Cheese is amazing.  Children are welcome.

Brags and Confessions:

Mansour is back from Arizona and wishes he wasn't due to our wintry weather.

Wayne turned 69!

Callie celebrated her birthday by doing nothing and loving every minute of it.  Also, the Junior Service League raised 59K through My Girlfriend's Closet.

Lisa is excited that 1) her dogs have learned to poop on a leash and 2) that her house is getting painted.

Robin is excited about how well the Black Hawks are doing.

Jim R. said that a lot of the students at WVC are homeless and depend on the Knight's Cupboard for food.  Knight's Cupboard is a student-run food resource for students who are unable to access food otherwise.

Kevin is in the process of moving his mom from Omak to Wenatchee and would love input about assisted living facilities in this area.
