Announcements
- October is National Polio Awareness Month
- October 24th is International World Polio Day
- October 22nd will be "make a difference day" in Wenatchee
- There will be meals for sale as a fundraiser - $60 for 2 meals
- The meals will be made from scratch by a group from Wenatchee Valley College
- This event is supported by all Wenatchee Rotary Clubs
- Volunteers are needed from all clubs

- Training was held in Wenatchee on Sept 17th and 18th.
- There were 20 students
- There were several trainer/facilitators including our own Jim Adamson
- The training was interesting, educational, and fun
- Wayne Massing is no longer the sergeant-at-arms
- Until the role is filled volunteers are needed
- Robin, Kathleen and Alan will be away for the next few meetings
- Please contact Kathleen McNalty for sign-up times
- Milt shared that $1500 was raised to help the Ukranian refugees in the area.
- Earl contributed $25
- He has not been in attendance recently
- He lost both of his parents recently
- He wanted to thank everyone for their cards and for reaching out to him during this difficult time
- Jim explained that the RLI training this weekend was a big success
- He enjoyed being a facilitator for the event
- The participants were very engaged, and the group had fun while learning about Rotary
- The Confluence Club had 10 attendees, so Sunrise needs to step up our game
- The training was excellent and well worth the time
- Jim Adamson and the facilitators were all very good speakers and really made the training enjoyable
- The participants were from all over the district, and it was very nice to meet the others and exchange ideas
- Allen thanked Stacy Gold for all of her hard work as his campaign manager
- The November election is approaching quickly
- Woody had the honor of officiating a wedding this last weekend
- The PAC season opens Friday September 23rd
- Tickets are on sale now for the upcoming events!

- October 4th @ 7:30 there will be an event sponsored by our Club

- Let's turn out and support one of our own club members
- She and Richard will be traveling to Australia over the next 3 weeks
- They are going to visit 2 of the exchange students they hosted in the past
- Both are like daughters to them
- One of the students is getting married
- Robin promised to "rap" at the wedding (because she is dope and has a lot of street cred)
- They will be visiting opal mines and a very interesting prison with the other student
No one won the raffle this week. $73 dollars and growing
