Meeting Notes March 6th

Announcements:


  • Our next club social is March 14th at 5:30 at Bob's Burgers and Brews in East Wenatchee.
  • The next Board meeting is March 12th at 7:30 a.m. at Wild Huckleberry.
  • There is NO MEETING on March 13th (the social on March 14th replaces this)
  • RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) is coming up in May and we need to designate a student to go.  If you have anyone in mind, let the club know.
  • The Scout dinner honoring the Holmbergs is March 28th.  Tickets are $30.00 per person.  Contact John McDarment to sign up.
  • Jim Adamson reports that Elza is doing very well on her grades- GOOD JOB!
  • Host families are needed for the District Conference.  People will be traveling to Prosser and could use a place to stay on the way down or the way back.  Contact Jim Adamson if you are interested.
  • Next month is our Highway clean-up.  Matt Eastman will announce details soon.
  • Earl Crowe is Rotarian of the month.  Thanks for all you do! 
  • Craig Reese, CEO of Sister Connection, is currently in Bujumbura.  He located a Rotary monument and took a picture for us to share with the club.  Craig spoke about Sister Connection a few weeks back.  Click here to learn more.

  • Erin McCool is quite happy about University of Virginia's performance.
  • Lisa Parks went to Cheney with Carmyn.  Carmyn has been accepted at EWU and WWU.
  • Danae Fowler is getting a new puppy and passed a hard class for her schooling.
  • Wayne Massing celebrated his 70th birthday.
  • Kathy was in Maui and missed some meetings.
  • Kevin Love celebrated his birthday.
  • Annie LaCroix celebrated her birthday.
